William D. McLaughlin, MD

A native of the Wiregrass area, Dr. McLaughlin received his B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Auburn University. He then went on to complete his Medical Degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical School in 1982. His Internship and Residency were served at the University of Florida in Gainesville where completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at University Hospital, at the University of Florida in 1987.

Dr. McLaughlin is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine), and American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology. He holds memberships in the American College of Physicians, Southern Medical Association, the Alabama Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterology Association, the Houston County Medical Society, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

Dr. McLaughlin enjoys Auburn sports and outdoor activities with his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
