Prevent Colorectal Cancer
Early stages of colorectal cancer usually present no symptoms, and it is highly treatable if detected early. A colonoscopy is the only test to prevent colorectal cancer, with it’s unique ability to remove polyps before they turn into cancer. For a colonoscopy, a bowel prep is necessary. Your doctor will prescribe the type of bowel prep that is best for you.
This page contains the Patient Prep instructions for most procedures performed by the Physicians at Digestive Health Specialists. Be sure to follow the instructions exactly as they are presented unless otherwise directed by your Doctor. If you have any questions, please call our office.
